“By expanding this partnership, Vodafone will be able to use the latest integrated data center technologies such as Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Software Defined Network (SDN), and add many cloud services that are being offered for the first time in Egypt, such as Hosted Private Cloud, Disaster Recovery as a Service. This proves that Vodafone is not only a communications partner, it also plays a major role in providing the latest advanced technology to the Egyptian society and various sectors,” Shehata added.
“It is not surprising that cloud computing is gaining popularity quickly in the Middle East. We hope that Egypt will soon become a global center for ICT services, and one of the leading countries in introducing Cloud computing technologies. This encourages us to expand our partnership with Vodafone. We predict that Egypt will make a great progress in technical and technological fields”, stated Tarek Heiba, Dell EMC Egypt and Libya General Manager.
