The Vodafone Charity Caravan was set up with the belief that we have an obligation to contribute to our community with basic needs and assistance when needed in disadvantaged villages particularly in rural and remote areas. Since 2006, Vodafone Charity Caravan reached 100,000 families with blankets all over Egypt and distributed more than 600,000 food bags reaching the needy families in the most deprived areas in Egypt. A total of 900 volunteers participated in the food packing and distribution process to all the supplies Vodafone donated since 2006 with a total of 9000 volunteering hours. In 2012, Vodafone’s Charitable Caravan reached Marsa Matruh, Qena, Luxor and Menya.
