Vodafone Egypt adopts new preventive measures to ensure the business continuity and providing service to 44 million customers
20% capacity increase in home internet to all customers and free access to educational websites and platforms
Vodafone Egypt issued a statement today explaining the precautionary measures taken by the company to ensure business continuity and providing the service for 44 million customers, to help them during the current situation. Vodafone Egypt offered a 20% capacity increase in ADSL to all customers and free access to governmental educational websites and portals, according to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology initiative.
Implementation of those procedures is already in place and include:
The availability of 2000 Network engineers and technicians all the time, to ensure network maintenance, coverage and service.
Gloves, masks and sanitizers are provided to employees and all retail staff.
Continuous sterilization of surfaces in all stores and buildings.
Managing the customers flow into stores to ensure social distance, by changing the waiting area/time outside store, avoiding crowds and creating more space.

Iindicated that Vodafone regularly follows up with Egyptian authorities and ministry of CIT for information on the situation coordinate to ensure business continuity and providing services to our customers, helping to better use all our services and technology during the coming few weeks
Froment added that a campaign had been launched on Vodafone social media platforms under the slogan "Stay Home … Stay Connected", in which Vodafone encourages customers to use the "Ana Vodafone" application and Vodafone Cash services to transfer money and all of our services that help enable them without the need to physically visit the stores.
